Gene water-drop halter one-piece, matte black
A high-neck halter swimsuit with a water-drop cut-out at the front and an oval open back. It is cut for swimming laps, surfing and diving, holds its shape in chlorine and salt water, and is quiet enough to wear with a skirt or jeans afterwards.

I really couldn't find a swimsuit this comfortable anywhere else. Soft and breathable. I can wear it all day.

Questions about the Gene one-piece
Can I swim laps in the Gene one-piece?
Yes. It is cut to stay close to the body in the water, with elastic binding that keeps water out and a halter that stays in place when you push off the wall. For competitive racing, a dedicated racing suit is the better choice.
Does it run small?
The halter neck wraps closely, so it feels snug. If you have an apple shape, a fuller bust or broad shoulders, take one size up. A–B cups can take their usual size.
Will the black fade in chlorine?
The fabric is chlorine-resistant and dyed to stay colourfast to washing, sun and rubbing. Rinse it in cool fresh water after every swim to keep the black deep for longer.
Are the cups removable?
Yes. Keep them in for shape and support, or take them out for a lighter feel. Wash them separately.
How much does it cover?
Medium coverage: a mid-high cheeky leg that covers about half the seat, a high neck, and a raised underarm. The oval back is open between the shoulder blades.
